Teaching an Eight Year Old How to Bake!! =]
I taught my nephew how to bake for my senior project. I showed him how to read a recipe and how to measure out the different things we needed. He did a very good job at what we made. He loved decorating the confetti cookie. I'm very glad that I was able to help him learn something that he actually liked. I even showed him how to make french toast and a few days after we were done with our adventure he decided to make french toast on his own and ended up using all the dishes in the kitchen and didn't quite finish the toast. His parent's woke up to a complete mess, but at least he tried without burning down the house! =]
